Behavior Analyst (BCBA)POSITION SUMMARY:The Behavior Analyst will oversee the development and implementation of behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs for pediatric clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Behavior Analyst will provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians, ensure treatment fidelity, and collaborate with families and other professionals to support client progress. The Behavior Analyst will work under the supervision of the Director of ABA. This position is for a part time analyst 10-15 hours per week.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Client Assessment and Treatment PlanningMaintain a caseload of 2-4 clientsConduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments using evidence-based tools such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS, ESDM, or Essentials for LivingDevelop individualized treatment plans and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) based on assessment data and client needsMaintain updated Behavior Support Plans for clients based on clinical indicators and direction from Director of ABAData Analysis and Progress MonitoringUtilize digital data collection platform to evaluate client progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decision to adjust treatment as neededPrepare and present progress reports for family meetings, team reviews, and insurance authorizationsStaff Supervision and TrainingProvide clinical supervision to behavior technicians, ensuring adherence to intervention protocols and behavior support plans.Deliver ongoing training and mentorship to behavior technicians to enhance their clinical skills and professional developmentObserve sessions and provide constructive feedback utilizing behavior skills training (instruction, modeling, rehearsal, and feedback) to ensure high-quality service delivery.Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with caregivers to provide education, training, and guidance on behavior management and skill-building strategiesWork closely with multidisciplinary teams (speech therapists, occupational therapists, early intervention professionals,and educators) to coordinate care.Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and strategize interventionsCompliance and Quality AssuranceMaintain client documentation in compliance with organizational policies, HIPAA, and funding source requirementsEnsure ethical and professional standards are upheld in all interactions and interventionsStay updated on best practices and advancements in ABA therapy, incorporating them into clinical practice.Maintain certification by obtaining necessary continuing education credits (CEUs) as specified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA)Center Support and LeadershipAssist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment within the center.Support administrative duties as needed, such as scheduling and maintaining client caseloads.Lead team meetings and provide leadership in problem-solving and conflict resolutionInteract with all families during client arrival and dismissal timesQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Maintenance of an acceptable CORIMaintain flexibility with weekly scheduled hours to accommodate the programCommitment to the philosophy of community inclusion and person-centered thinkingCOMPETENCIES:Professionalism: Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats other with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitmentQuality: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure qualitySafety and Security: Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses materials properlyAttendance and Punctuality: Consistently attends work on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives to meetings and appointments on time and preparedDependability: Follows instructions; responds to management directions; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to completion of work to reach goals and deadlines; completes tasks on timeKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification BoardCommitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws.Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standards.Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and written protocols.Must maintain a professional appearance with regard to clothing, grooming, hair, and make up.
