We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and resources to individuals and families in need, facilitating therapy sessions, and managing cases to ensure the well-being of clients. Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on therapeutic techniques that promote mental health and well-being.
- Manage cases effectively by coordinating services and resources for clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.
- Engage in crisis management to assist clients during critical situations, providing immediate interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare providers, educators, and social service agencies to enhance client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with coding standards.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and access to necessary services within the community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work.
Experience
- A degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
- Experience in clinical counseling or child family counseling is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with case management processes and special education systems is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare environment is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and patient care techniques.
