About Job
Job Overview
Cathedral of the Rockies is looking for a high energy people person with a passion for working with people who are living with dementia. We are beginning a new ministry, offering respite care for people living with dementia beginning in July. The dementia respite care program (The Care Collective) provides a social, non-medical model of adult day respite care for individuals living with dementia. Through meaningful engagement, compassionate volunteer support, and a welcoming environment, the program offers relief for caregivers and enriching experiences for participants. The program is based on the model provided by the Respite-For-All Foundation.
The respite program will officially begin accepting participants in July, offering one day a week of respite care. We will add a second day beginning in October when the job will become 30+ hours per week with benefits including Health, Dental and Life Insurance, 403B with employer match, paid vacation, sick and holiday time and discounted on-site childcare. In 2026 we plan to expand the program to four days per week.
The program is housed within the facilities of Cathedral of the Rockies and functions in close collaboration with its ministries and community outreach initiatives. Cathedral of the Rockies is a truly open and inclusive church so when we say “All Means All” we really do mean it.
