Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals and groups, focusing on mental health and emotional well-being. This role involves working collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans, facilitate therapy sessions, and support their journey toward recovery and personal growth.

Duties

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments.
• Provide crisis management support to clients in need of immediate assistance.
• Engage in case management activities, ensuring clients receive appropriate resources and support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and coding for billing purposes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within a hospital or clinical setting to enhance patient care.
• Offer direct support to clients and their families, particularly in child family counseling scenarios.
• Stay informed about best practices in clinical counseling and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of practice.
• Strong background in therapy modalities, including group therapy techniques.
• Experience in crisis management and patient care within a clinical or hospital environment is preferred.
• Proficient in case management practices and coding for mental health services.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Previous experience in child family counseling is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
