We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Services team. Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Department: Behavioral Health Services – Hospital Based
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Duration: 8-week assignment (with possible extension)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: July 7, 2025
End Date: August 30, 2025
Shift Type: 8-hour evening shifts
Travel Type: Contract/Travel
Note: No local candidates within 50 miles

• Responsibilities:
• Provide psychosocial assessments and therapeutic interventions for patients in an acute care environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Support patients and families with crisis intervention, counselling, and resource navigation
• Ensure timely documentation of patient interactions in compliance with hospital policies
• Advocate for patients' needs and facilitate connections to community-based services

• Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a hospital-based social worker
• Valid and active Georgia LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license
• Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in behavioural health or psychiatric hospital settings preferred
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
