The Marriage and Family Institute (Agape Counseling & Consultation Services, LLC) is looking for an experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Independently Licensed Social Worker with Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) certification, or Internal Family Systems (Level 1 & 2) trained to work in an outpatient private-practice mental health setting with the potential of expanding one's caseload to full-time basis. The Trauma Therapist should feel comfortable working with a variety of family dynamics including adolescents, adults and potentially children. The ideal candidate would have a willingness to learn and feel comfortable with case consultation and ongoing peer collaboration with fellow therapist and practitioners. Flexible scheduling with the opportunity to work independently and autonomously while managing their caseload.
Therapists are W2 employees, compensated on a percentage of therapy sessions. Pay range based off experience level and number of clients per day. Monthly consultation, peer supervision and CEU reimbursement is provided. Some benefits may include Health insurance benefits, 401k retirement contribution, specialized training and CEU reimbursement and paid vacation time. Benefits include: Part time and full time employees will receive benefits.Full time Employees: 20+ clinical hours/ week average for two consecutive payroll periods or any four week period.

About Us: MFI is a small private practice start-up, formed 8 years ago, in the hopes of providing excellent, science-based and compassionate counseling services to all individuals in the Columbus area. After the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the need for personal and integrative family therapists became overwhelming! As a result, the hope for growing and hiring associates to expand this mission grew! Required:
- 2 - 5 years of clinical experience.
- Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) certified and Internal Family Systems (Level 1 & 2) trained or Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- State of Ohio Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW,) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC,) or Independent Marriage & Family Therapist (IMFT) license in good standing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred, but not required:
- Intermediate comfortability using Electronic Health Records. Training can be provided.
- Intermediate comfortability with technological systems including Google workspace, Zoom and Dropbox. Training can be provided.
All new hires must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test.
