Clinician – Youth Services

Arbor Associates is seeking a dedicated and trauma-informed Clinician to support youth and young adults in residential care programs. If you're passionate about mental health, resilience-building, and guiding individuals through critical life transitions, we want to hear from you.
Your Role:
As a Clinician at Arbor, you will work directly with youth and their interdisciplinary teams to provide therapeutic interventions, develop care plans, and promote emotional growth. Your leadership in trauma-informed practices will strengthen staff capacity, reinforce a supportive milieu, and help youth build healthy attachments, regulation skills, and life tools for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments at intake and throughout treatment
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for youth
Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions in accordance with care plans
Provide crisis intervention and support during program escalations
Guide program staff in trauma-informed approaches and model therapeutic strategies
Collaborate with program leadership to align clinical services across settings
Supervise case managers and/or interns, as assigned
Maintain timely, professional clinical documentation in accordance with ethical standards
Participate in on-call rotation and assist with direct care coverage as needed
Coordinate external service referrals to ensure continuity of care
Support cultural humility and inclusion across all client and team interactions
Complete all required and refresher training, maintaining up-to-date competencies
What We’re Looking For:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Clinical license or license-eligible in Massachusetts (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC)
Strong grounding in trauma-informed care and youth therapeutic frameworks
Experience working with youth in residential, behavioral health, or similar settings
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a multidisciplinary environment
Excellent documentation, crisis management, and communication skills
Valid driver's license (personal vehicle use may be required)
