Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider Job Specialty: Staff Augmentation Job Duration: 52 weeks Shift: Day 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, or Licensed Registered Nurse Certifications: Must comply with Ohio's licensing requirements Must-Have: - Valid driver's license - Ability to comply with security regulations (e.g., no cell phones or smartwatches inside the facility) - Items must be in a clear plastic bag Job Description: The Behavioral Healthcare Provider is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and providing interdisciplinary services that integrate behavioral and biomedical science knowledge and techniques. These services are relevant to health and illness and apply to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. - Perform psychosocial interventions with clients within the scope of practice - Conduct individual, family, or group interventions, including counseling, testing, and education - Develop intervention goals and objectives to educate and resolve clients' problems in functioning - Participate in establishing, implementing, and evaluating treatment system goals and objectives - Interview clients and their families to establish case goals and objectives - Assess clients and determine specific intervention techniques; monitor clients' responses to treatment - Provide feedback on the effectiveness of prescribed treatments - Evaluate lower-level cases and monitor clients' progress resulting from treatment plans - Maintain necessary data documents to satisfy federal, state, and local agency requirements - Prepare social histories, admission/aftercare summaries, court documents, and complete forms required by law and department policy - Serve on treatment teams and program development teams - Attend training meetings, departmental meetings, and court hearings - Establish and maintain working relationships with other facilities, agencies, and support services to coordinate referrals and conduct follow-up services - Demonstrate knowledge of departmental regulations, counseling practices, client care, crisis intervention, and employee instruction - Counsel on sensitive matters, proofread technical materials, recognize and correct errors, and take appropriate actions in unusual or threatening conditions - Apply social work theories, principles, and techniques in problem-solving situations with many variables
