Eliot is seeking a Residential Counselor to join our Brain Injury division. Our Brain Injury programs provide high-quality, innovative programming to help adults with brain injuries enhance their lives, develop personal skills, and engage in community activities while building supportive relationships.As a Residential Counselor, you will offer an array of restorative skill building activities and support to rebuild communication proficiency, social & behavioral skills, self help abilities, and management of daily life activities.Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the day to day operations of a group home for individuals
  • Assist individuals in being fully integrated in their communities by supporting them in the use of community resources, encouraging them in establishing memberships within their communities, and reducing stigma within the community through education.
  • Provide personal care, meal preparation and skills education.
  • Administer medications as needed.
  • Transport individuals to day programs, appointments, and activities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Requires a High school diploma
  • Experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults.
  • Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
Schedules:
  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday 3p-11p(24hrs)
  • Saturday,Sunday 9a-3p(12hrs)
