Responsibilities include:

Support students by listening to their needs and offering practical solutions
Identify school-related challenges such as bullying or aggressive behavior
Review and maintain accurate medical and mental health records
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to support student success
Develop intervention plans for students facing difficulties at home
Monitor student progress and document improvements
Refer students and families to appropriate mental health resources
Stay informed on the latest approaches to student wellness
Advise teachers on supporting high-risk students

Requirements:

Active Illinois Social Worker License
School Social Worker PEL (Professional Educator License)
Background in family and behavior support strongly preferred
