Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may vary to 9:00 AM–5:30 PM or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM)
Compensation: $24.93 – $33.59 per hour (Based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (paid in installments over 2 years)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with strong critical thinking and multitasking skills to join our dynamic interdisciplinary care team. This position plays a key role in providing emotional, psychosocial, and discharge planning support to patients and their families across multiple units, including ICU, NICU, Oncology, Emergency, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and non-clinical interventions for inpatients and ER patients.
• Collaborate with RN Case Managers, physicians, and nurses to identify discharge barriers and facilitate timely transitions.
• Provide emotional and crisis support to patients and families during high-stress situations (e.g., end-of-life discussions).
• Refer patients to resources for financial, emotional, and social support.
• Lead family/caregiver meetings and advocate for patient needs and decisions.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/private payer guidelines and managed care principles.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience (LCSW requirement); hospital, community, or insurance-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• School social workers will not be considered.

Preferred Backgrounds:

• Hospital Social Worker
• County or Community Social Worker
• Social Worker at Insurance Companies (e.g., Humana)
• Emergency Room (ER) or ICU Case Management Exposure
