About Job
- Act as an administrative assistant to the equipment service technician team.
- Learn our standard company operation system.
- Receive service call/parts requests via phone & e-mail. Along with updating our service spreadsheet.
- Read schematics & troubleshoot with customers/reps. Assist walk-in customers.
- Pack/ship parts to our remote techs via UPS & our delivery trucks.
- Obtain credit card information for future payments.
- Invoice all onsite service calls.
- Verify quote pricing & email customers for approvals.
- Create/copy new part numbers in system. Create PO’s for parts orders. Receive parts & stage repair bins for service techs. Put away stock inventory.
- Obtain pricing and availability on parts from vendors.
- Email and send manuals/part schematics to customers when requested.
- Other activities as directed by management.
- High School Diploma / GED / Technical Program Certificate
- Ability to effectively complete tasks with little supervision.
- Ability to read and comprehend schematics.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional, confidential and competent manner in a multitude of situations
- Strong PC skills (Ex. Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe)
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be detailed oriented.
