- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with the local community partners and target audiences.
- Assist with Foundation fundraising opportunities, including grants, donations, and partnerships to secure financial support for the Foundation's programs and projects.
- Organize and attend community events, meetings, and forums to represent the organization and strengthen community ties. (e.g., Libraries, Chambers, Municipalities, Non-profit organizations, Schools, etc.); serve as a liaison to branch managers to assist their community development activities.
- Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to build partnerships and support community initiatives.
- Work to determine viability, scope, and costs of sponsorship opportunities.
- Seek opportunities for referral business of new members and loans.
- Prospect, develop, and maintain VIP groups (e.g., onsite visits, lunch & learns, and promotional product communications).
- Seek out leadership roles on boards and committees within assigned branch communities (e.g., Chambers, Networking Groups, etc.).
- Perform public relations activities and serve as a Vibe spokesperson when applicable.
- Create compelling content for marketing materials, social media, and other communication channels to promote community engagement initiatives and events.
- Effectively use internal communication tools to keep all employees informed of community events and new VIPs.
- Collaborate with Vibe's Social Media Specialist to promote outreach activities
- Track and analyze the impact of community engagement and public relations efforts using metrics and key performance indicators defined by the Foundation and Community Engagement Director.
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations for improvement.
- Provide budget support as needed.
- Serve as brand steward in all activities.
- Effectively employ time management skills to execute both internal and external job responsibilities.
- Always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Understand regulations and internal policies related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and complete annual training.
- Education/Experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic learner and mindset for creativity and innovation.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to thoroughly proof-read and edit written communication for proper grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, etc.
