Job Title: Memory Care Activities Director

Job Type: Full-time
Silvercreek, a leading senior living community, is seeking a Memory Care Activities Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and implementing therapeutic activities designed to meet the specific and individual needs of the Memory Care residents.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program for Memory Care residents
- Plan and organize daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being
- Supervise and train activity staff to ensure quality programming
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure resident needs are met
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, or related field
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a Memory Care setting
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia care
- Ability to plan and implement therapeutic activities for individuals with cognitive impairments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
