Description:
Evaluate, examine, analyze, diagnose, and treat consumers.
Prescribe medication and perform in-depth psychotherapy and counseling.
Monitor and coordinate medical, nursing, and direct care staff in psychiatric care.
Review consumer records for accuracy and completeness.
Recommend improvements in hospital staffing and organization.
Conduct and participate in lectures and seminars in psychiatry or related fields for healthcare staff.
Be prepared to work with patients exhibiting challenging behaviors.
Possess the ability to adapt to various working conditions and environments.
Engage in continuous education and professional development to maintain qualifications.
