JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled an Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) to work with neurodiverse individuals, ages 6 through 89, who may have co-morbidities or dual diagnoses. The ideal candidate will design and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to everyone’s unique needs, promoting personal growth, independence, and quality of life.

JOB DUTIES

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams (e.g., medical professionals, therapists, educators).
  • Utilize data collection and analysis to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Address behavioral, social, emotional, and adaptive skill challenges.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers and professionals on ABA principles.
  • Ensure ethical, person-centered, and culturally responsive care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with professional standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (or eligibility for certification).
  • Experience working with neurodiverse individuals across different age groups.
  • Familiarity with co-morbidities and dual diagnoses such as ADHD, anxiety disorders, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and behavior modification strategies.

Preferred Experience:

  • Work experience in clinical, educational, residential, or community-based settings
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and alternative communication methods.
  • Experience supporting families and caregivers through educational workshops.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

SMART GOALS

  • Respond to calls and requests no later than 24-hours.
  • Ensure 100% compliance within the document management system and submit reports monthly.
  • Introduce three new initiatives by year end 2025.
  • Identify and participate in one professional development opportunity by year end 2025.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.
  • Possess the ability to lift 15-pounds.

COMPENSATION


Salary:$52,000- $55,000

Occupational Risk for Exposure to TB

This position involves direct patient contact, posing a risk of exposure to Tuberculosis (TB). Employment is contingent upon annual TB testing, except for:

  • Documented medical contraindications
  • Documented religious objections

Staff who decline TB testing or flu vaccinations due to medical or religious reasons will be required to wear a mask as appropriate.
