Job description

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinician, LPCC, LCSW, MFT or associate that is supervised to join our dedicated team. The LPHA- Licensed Clinician will play a crucial role in providing mental health support and counseling services to individuals in our substance and alcohol residential facility. This position requires a strong commitment to promoting well-being and facilitating positive change in the lives of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Provide counseling services, focusing on gender issues, utilizing techniques such as art therapy.
  • Assess residents and submit OPTOM authorizations
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay informed about current best practices in psychopharmacology and integrate this knowledge into treatment when appropriate.

Requirements

  • A valid LPCC, LCSW, MFT license in the state of practice or be an associate approved by the BBS.
  • Experience with San Diego County protocols.
  • Familiarity with ASAM.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $93,914.37 - $105,090.42 per year
