Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of social services, mental health, and community resources to effectively assist clients in navigating their circumstances.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis management and intervention strategies for clients in distress.
  • Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis when working with clients, particularly those with autism.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records, ensuring compliance with ICD-9 standards and medical terminology.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients.
  • Facilitate diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate services and interventions.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and community resources.
  • Educate clients and their families about available services, coping strategies, and treatment options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and medical records management.
  • Proficiency in crisis management techniques and patient assessment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in social work practice.
