Shift: 10 hours per week- Monday-Friday 8:00AM-6:00PM

Compensation: $120/visit

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring medical-legal psychologists licensed in California. Psychologists will conduct virtual intake visits to examine, diagnose and treat personal injury cases. This position will also establish therapeutic techniques and coping mechanisms to improve health and outcomes.

Qualifications of a Medical-Legal Psychologist:

• Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) required
• Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) preferred
• 3+ years medical-legal evaluation experience as a QME (personal injury)
• Ability to opine causation, history of injury, diagnosis, treatment plan
• Education from an accredited psychology institution
• EMR proficient
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Telehealth experience

Duties/Responsibilities of a Medical-Legal Psychologist:

• Conduct virtual psychological evaluations and treatment sessions for patients with personal injury cases.
• Assess and document injury history, symptoms, clinical impressions, and treatment progress in the EMR.
• Diagnose mental health conditions and provide professional opinions on causation related to the injury.
• Develop and recommend individualized, culturally sensitive treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Maintain high standards of patient care through compassionate, comprehensive, and respectful telehealth services.
• Ensure documentation and clinical practices align with medical-legal requirements, particularly in personal injury contexts.
