Job Summary
Join our growing team of mental health clinicians. We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is ready to work collaboratively within our diverse team of providers to achieve better outcomes for our clients. Work alongside dedicated PMHNPs, RN, other LCSWs, and the administrative and executive team like no other!
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
This role provides high-quality care to patients with mental health disorders across the lifespan, which may include but is not limited to:
- Perform individual counseling, develop and monitor therapy programs, and help clients reach their behavioral health goals.
- Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and follow-up psychotherapy sessions as appropriate.
- Maintain records of treatment and services using industry-specific record-keeping software.
- Work collaboratively within the cross-functional services provided by ND Systems.
- Participate in ongoing continuing education
- Present yourself in a professional manner with others as a representative of ND System
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed in the state of Alaska as an LCSW or LPC
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, education or related field.
- Experience in a private practice setting preferred, however, not required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health records is preferred
- Knowledge of various therapy options and treatments
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with local resources that could help individuals and families is preferred
Compensation is based on experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.89 - $31.25 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
