Now Hiring: Licensed Psychologist (Independent Contractor) — Autism Evaluations
Houston, TX – In-Clinic | Flexible Schedule | Part-Time or Full-Time

Turning Point Therapy Services is seeking a passionate, licensed Psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor to perform autism diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work part-time or full-time depending on your availability and caseload preference.

Position Overview

As a contracted psychologist, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations using gold-standard tools (e.g., ADOS-2, Vineland, cognitive assessments) and clinical judgment to support the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related conditions. You will work closely with our intake and clinical teams to ensure high-quality assessment and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct autism evaluations for children (typically ages 2–17) in a clinical setting
• Utilize standardized diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, Vineland-3, and cognitive assessments
• Interpret assessment data and clinical observations
• Write clear, comprehensive diagnostic reports with treatment recommendations
• Provide feedback sessions to families when needed
• Collaborate as needed with BCBAs, referring providers, and intake staff

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
• Licensed to practice psychology in the state of Texas
• Experience with autism assessments and differential diagnosis
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological assessment tools
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Professional liability insurance (required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Contract Type:

• Independent Contractor (1099)
