We’re Hiring: Counselor – Adult Criminal Justice and Treatment Services (ACJS)

Salary Range: $43,800 – $47,000 (based on experience and education)

About the ACJS Program
TASC’s Adult Criminal Justice and Treatment Services (ACJS) supports individuals struggling with substance use disorders. We provide services such as:
Screening and assessments
Treatment placement and monitoring
Support for insurance, ID, and employment resources
Client progress reporting and follow-up
Position Summary: Treatment Counselor
As a Counselor, you will provide direct clinical services to individuals with substance use disorders. This includes both one-on-one and group counseling. You will assess client needs, collaborate on treatment plans, monitor progress, and ensure all documentation and reporting are completed according to agency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
Complete behavioral health assessments
Develop and review individualized treatment plans
Monitor client progress toward treatment goals
Collaborate with internal staff and external partners
Participate in staff meetings and supervision
Complete all required documentation and reports
Meet weekly production and service goals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university; or four years of human services experience
A master’s degree is preferred for some programs
Ability to obtain CADC certification within two years
Experience with high-risk populations
Knowledge of behavioral health and treatment planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Group facilitation experience
