Psychotherapist, Hybrid or Remote Work, Private Practice - Maryland (LGPC, LCPC only)

Growing group practice with office in Columbia, MD, is looking to hire recent graduates or licensed counselors for individual counseling (teens and adults), couples counseling and group counseling. I am an approved supervisor with the Board and I can help an LGPC become fully licensed.

This is an ideal position for someone who is self-sufficient and wants to work in private practice. Flexible schedule, ability to work from home or hybrid. Supervision given if required. Training reimbursements offered. Fee for service.

Group supervision every other week, attendance and participation is compensated.

You are a good fit if:

• You have done a good amount of self work, whether with a professional and/or on your own, and you know how manage stressors and burnout
• You employ various therapeutic modalities and are open to learning and working in various ways
• You understand the deep and healing process of therapy and are not looking to “quickly fix” your clients
• You are open to learning and evolving as a therapist and enjoy being part of a community
• You are organized and tenacious, you enjoy the independence of private practice and you are self motivated
• You don’t want the hassle of contacting insurance companies, doing the billing, etc, you just want to use your skills to treat clients

You are not a good fit if:

• You are looking for a way to make money quickly and think private practice is an easy way to do that
• You don’t enjoy being part of a community of therapists
• You already feel burnt out by the field and have a hard time keeping up with tasks such as note writing, following up with clients, acquiring new clients.
