Licensed Social Worker - Education

Ross Education is seeking a full time Social Worker supporting students and advocating for their emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.

Social Worker duties include:

  • Promoting the general well-being of students
  • Offering mentoring and suggestions for instructors and staff
  • Developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
  • troubleshoot and advocate for student concerns, issues and problems
  • Working to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations
  • Provide individual therapy to at-risk students with a history of trauma
  • Provide clinical services that are aligned with the school, the students and the program purpose and values
  • Coordinate with staff members and community resources to address student needs

Requirements:

  • Masters in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, or LCPAT- MI State License
  • Experience providing therapeutic services to adults in an educational environment
  • At least two years of post-graduate experience
  • Ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner when in contact with the public, fellow employees, and students
  • Experience using Google Suites and other computer applications
