Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Registered Behavior Technician (Lead RBT) to join our growing clinical team. The Lead RBT will support Behavior Analysts by overseeing a team of RBTs, ensuring high-quality implementation of treatment plans, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining fidelity to clinical protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA therapy to clients in home, school, or clinic settings as needed
- Oversee day-to-day performance of a team of RBTs, including modeling, training, and feedback
- Assist BCBAs with onboarding, staff coaching, and treatment fidelity checks
- Support clinical documentation and ensure data collection accuracy and compliance
- Communicate with BCBAs regarding client progress, behavior concerns, and program updates
- Help facilitate team meetings, parent training sessions, and RBT team check-ins
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards as set forth by the BACB
- Support new hires in understanding clinical expectations and reinforce a positive culture
Requirements
- Current RBT certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as an RBT; leadership or mentorship experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficient in behavior intervention strategies and data collection procedures
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- CPR/First Aid and Safety Care (or equivalent) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
