Description
The School District of Waukesha is seeking qualified candidates to apply for an opening as a School Psychologist. This position will serve students at Waukesha North High School (9th-12th) 40% FTE, and eAchieve (K-12th) 60% FTE.

Scope of practice for School Psychology required:
  • Data based decision making and accountability
  • Consultation and Collaboration
  • Interventions and instructional support for academic success, including progress monitoring
  • School-wide practices to promote learning
  • Case manage initial IEP evaluations
  • Interventions and mental health services for social and life skills
  • Preventive and responsive services, including individual student support
  • Family-school collaboration services
  • Diversity in development and learning
  • Research and program evaluation
  • Legal, ethical and professional practice
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of assessment and student progress monitoring
  • Knowledge of special education rules and regulations
  • Ability to collaborate and develop positive relationships with staff, students, families, and the community in order to enhance student learning
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with RTI/EMLSS including data analysis and programming, academic and behavioral interventions
  • Crisis intervention
  • Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
