Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, to implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals.
- Collect and record data on individual progress.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to support individual goals.
Experience:
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Familiarity with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medical terminology.
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records.
- Previous exposure to behavioral health settings is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care.
