Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a California-licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and values the autonomy of remote work while maintaining a commitment to clinical excellence.
All referrals are related to workers’ compensation, including psychological evaluations and therapy. Cases are pre-authorized, leading to minimal no-shows and a stable, consistent caseload.

Requirements:
- Active California license as a Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
- Must have a valid EIN (Employer Identification Number)
- Must carry professional liability insurance
- Ability to commit to 25–30 clinical hours per week
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Experience with workers’ compensation or forensic evaluations is a plus
- Spanish or Chinese language proficiency is highly encouraged

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and intake evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- Provide psychotherapy and mental health counseling to injured workers.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary and provide telehealth services as required.
