Position Summary

Provides psychotherapy to Behavioral Health Clients.

Primary Position Responsibilities

1.Provides individual therapy.

2.Leads therapeutic groups.

3.Accurately document client attendance and participation within designated policy timeframes.

4.Maintains departmental productivity standards.

5.Maintains JCAHO standards and DMHAS specialty regulations, Medicaid Regulations, and HBH policies & procedures.

6.Maintains standards of licensing board.


Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field



Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

Five years experience in the field of mental health



License, Registry or Certification:

Required:

Professional License—LPC, LCSW, Psychologist



Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

Knowledge of the DSM-5, De-escalation Techniques, Individual and Group Therapy expertise. Training and expertise in brief therapy models of treatment.



Location: Hunterdon Healthcare System · HBH - Psych Outpatient Services
Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift w/ occasional Evening or Night, m-f hours vary
