SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Brand Manager is to support the development and execution of strategic and marketing initiatives to drive the overall success of the company in the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and the AM (Aftermarket) Segments. This role is critical in shaping how our brand is perceived in the market, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and brand voice across all platforms.  The Brand Manager must be technically oriented as this position supports all product and business development activity and any new ventures or acquisitions undertaken by Shaw Development. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following; other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
Manage the execution of brand initiatives across marketing, digital, trade shows, sales enablement, and internal communications.
Collaborate cross-functionally to define, create and publish press releases related to products, partnering with key industry publications and associations. 
In partnership with cross-functional workgroups, create, publish and train sales team on value selling tools and literature, including but not limited to sell sheets and value calculators.
Provide day-to-day support for the field sales team with respect to selling tools.
Create and publish necessary product training and education videos.
Meet with customers and distributors to plan and implement marketing campaigns for brand building. 
Help gather and analyze data to gain insights about brands, competitors, and market trends.
Assist with definition of the strategy and approach to ecommerce.
Work cross-functionally to develop databases of information on competitors, their strengths and weaknesses, benchmarking information, suppliers, and other useful market data.
Assures forecasting information is maintained and kept in a useable format to support the use and deployment of such data for forecasts for the development of business cases and commercial quotes.
Coordinate all participation and activities related to trade shows and industry associations, including but 
not limited to booking, booth setup/installation, key messaging, and agenda participation.
Coordinate public relations initiatives, including media releases, awards, company announcements, white papers and speaker proposals.

SUPERVISORY SKILLS: This position has no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
 
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Familiarity with product lifecycle in manufacturing or engineering settings.
Graphic design or video production experience is a plus.
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
 
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:    On and/or off-highway commercial vehicle industry experience preferred.   
Experience in field / related field, and/or a combination of education and experience.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, federal and international regulations, financial statements, market statistics and forecast information. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, documents and regulations. Write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, team members and clients

Domestic and/or international travel may be required for the purpose of attending conferences, tradeshows and/or meeting with customers, suppliers or peer, or strategically aligned companies.
