Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing guidance to clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop effective intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies across various settings.
- Provide training and support to staff members on best practices in behavioral therapy and special education techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Regularly review client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Stay current with research developments in the field of behavior analysis and apply evidence-based practices in your work.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst is mandatory.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices and patient assessment techniques will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
