Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) Position

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate therapist in good standing to provide psychotherapy to adults and families. We offer billing services, marketing support, office space, and client referrals. Additionally, we provide supervision and weekly group training/consultation.

Candidates will benefit from shadowing licensed supervisors, engaging in role-playing exercises, reviewing recordings of their sessions, and participating in didactic trainings. Clinical support will be available from two supervisors and a peer mentor when possible.

The ideal candidate would be interested in learning clinical skills and diagnostic skills. The ideal candidate is flexible, empathetic, honest and adaptable while managing multiple clinical tasks. The right candidate has a passion for mental health and cares for the BIPOC marginalized community. The candidate will be passionate about helping people of all intersectionality of identity and background.

Qualifications:

In a good standing to accrue hours and is located in California
Have basic therapeutic skills and diagnostic skills
Be able to conduct intake assessments and establish appropriate treatment plans
Have background in children, adolescents, and adults and family work
Can work from a multicultural framework with diverse population
Be flexible, self-motivated and responsible

Job Type:

Part-time: 20-25 clinical hours per week
Be available to work on the weekends and evening hours
W2 status
$31 per hour (supervision, peer mentoring, consultation, training hours are all paid for)

License:

AMFT level

Work Location:

Hybrid work model: remote and in person sessions in our Newport Beach office.
100% remote option for clinical work is available. Supervision has to be in person per BBS regulations unless otherwise indicated by BBS.
