American Training, a non-profit Human Service agency, is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinician (BCBA, LICSW or LMHC). In this role you will be responsible for Functional Behavioral Assessments, data review/analysis and the writing of behavior and safety plans.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing Functional behavior assessments
• Writing behavior and safety plans
• Analysis of data
• Training of staff on behavior plans and data collection
• Providing Trauma-Informed Care Training

Skills needed:

• Knowledge of Department of Developmental Services and Human Rights regulations
• Exceptionally strong communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to write effective behavior management plans
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Good community relations skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements:

• Currently licensed in Massachusetts with one of the following: An independent clinical social worker, an applied behavior analyst, or a mental health counselor
• Three years’ experience working in the field of mental health and developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license required and use of personal vehicle
• Satisfactory CORI and background check
• Flexibility to work in Residential Homes

Physical and emotional effort:

• Frequent walking, moderate standing and driving
• Work environment frequently hectic, fast-paced with periods of high stress
• Must be able to calmly and analytically respond to crisis and/or crisis situations
• Must be able to appropriately intervene in medical, psychiatric and behavioral crises
