Position Summary:

The Admissions Counselor position is responsible for recruiting prospective students by developing and managing a comprehensive recruitment plan within an assigned territory. This includes high school visits, college fairs, email and phone outreach, and participation in on-campus and off-campus events designed to engage prospective students. The counselor will also build and maintain relationships with high school counselors and community-based organizations. The role includes coordinating outreach initiatives to support the recruitment of underrepresented student populations. The counselor will provide prospective students with information and guidance about Western Oregon University and the admissions process. This position requires flexibility and may include evening and weekend hours.
