Overview
Carolina’s Compassionate Counseling is a growing private practice dedicated to providing holistic, high-quality mental health care to a diverse and dynamic community. We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated LCSW or LMHC to join our team.
The ideal candidate brings clinical experience, strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, and a deep commitment to building a safe, client-centered space aligned with our mission of whole-person healing.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments to inform treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure continuity of care, making referrals when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active LCSW or LMHC license in the state of Florida.
- Experience working directly with clients in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
- Strong ability to build rapport and lead with a client-centered, empathetic approach.
- Proficient understanding of the DSM-5 and diagnostic criteria.
- Working knowledge of a variety of therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based therapy, trauma-informed care).
- Reliable, organized, and committed to ethical, confidential practice.
