One of our client is seeking for an School Social Worker (MSW)

JOB SUMMARY:
The position requires flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills both with internal and external educators, clinicians, families/guardians and other personnel.
As a member of the education team, establish and maintain a positive, strength based, developmentally appropriate educational milieu that is in keeping with the values and clinical treatment philosophy of client.
Responsible for meeting all administrative, legal, and program requirements as mandated by all operating contracts including, but not limited to: DYFS, DOE, and COA.
The School Social Worker will carry a caseload of up to twelve (12) day treatment clients.
He/she will oversee and coordinate all aspects of a client's treatment program along with providing individual, family, and group therapy in accordance with the treatment plan and in concert with the other members of the treatment team.

Responsibilities:
Participate in, under the direction of the School Principal, the orientation of education personnel.
Maintain a positive relationship with referring school districts, school/clinical/residential staff.
Provide therapeutic crisis intervention to students exhibiting behavioral difficulties.
Provide crisis support to students and staff.
Develop individual student behavior management/intervention plans.
Participate as an active member of the treatment team in developing the Individual Education Plan (IEP) for day students.
Provide in-service training to school staff regarding mental health issues and effective strategies to meet the needs of students with various psychiatric diagnosis and mental health needs.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in social work.
Possess School Social Worker Certification.
Required to participate in CPR and First Aid training and required to perform techniques as needed.
