What You’ll Do

- Manage check-in/check-out, answer phones, and coordinate digital forms and new patient onboarding
- Present treatment plans in partnership with the clinical team, clearly explaining next steps and payment options
- Coordinate insurance benefits and pre-authorization processes (training provided)
- Use Open Dental and other modern tools to manage appointments and communication
- Maintain clear, timely communication with patients via text, phone, and email
- Support team flow by anticipating patient needs and coordinating effectively with the clinical team
- Help create a calm, organized, and intentional front office experience
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in a dental or medical front office OR strong customer service/admin background
- Strong verbal and written communication skills — clear, calm, and kind
- Tech-comfortable and willing to learn tools like Open Dental and cloud-based platforms
- Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable handling multiple priorities
- Confident and empathetic when presenting information and helping patients understand care plans
- A team-first mindset with a professional, service-oriented approach
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience presenting treatment plans or coordinating patient care
- Familiarity with dental benefits, insurance verification, or financial discussions
- Bilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese, or Mandarin)
- Interest in wellness, lifestyle medicine, or holistic care settings
- Familiarity with automation tools, AI systems, or digital scheduling platforms
What You Can Expect
- A respectful, inclusive, and supportive team culture
- On-the-job training in technology systems, workflows, and treatment coordination
- Opportunities for growth into leadership or operations roles
- A calm, purpose-driven work environment with systems that support clarity and consistency
- A meaningful role in helping patients feel cared for, understood, and empowered
