SUMMARY DESCRIPTION FO CLASSIFICATION:

Under direction of the Executive Director of Student Support Services, the BCBA provides direct services and consultation to students, staff and parents in order to provide positive ways for working successfully with students who have difficulties conforming to acceptable behavior patterns; of developing and implementing behavior assessments and intervention plans; and of establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with outside agencies serving District students and their families.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Thorough knowledge of Milford School District policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations and laws. Effectively communicates with diverse groups.Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)Maintains confidentiality.Motivates, encourages, and works with staff to ensure outstanding performance, as well as good morale.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent human relations skills.EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: Masters degree in related fieldBoard Certified Behavior Analyst licensureThree to five years of experience as a Behavior AnalystOther qualifications as specified by the Director of Student Support ServicesCERTIFICATE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Board Certified Behavior Analyst licensureFLSA Status: ExemptSCHEDULE: Full-Time, 10 months
