Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to enhance patient care. This role requires a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles.
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring effective interventions are utilized.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support clients' progress.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Train and supervise staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
  • Stay current with best practices in special education and behavioral therapy.

Requirements

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with patient care protocols and special education frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of patient assessment techniques and behavioral analysis methodologies.
