Job description

We are looking for a passionate individual to provide holistic, 1:1 ABA treatment in an in-home environment, under the supervision of a BCBA.

We would like to welcome someone with prior experience as an RBT to our small team!

This candidate will have excellent communication skills, works well as a leader and is interested in learning a different approach to ABA; one that emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between an RBT and their client.

Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on client progress.
- Collaborate with caregivers and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with clients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
- Demonstrate patience and empathy when working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Certifications and Qualifications

-Must be RBT certified and have passed RBT Competency Assessment, administered by a BCBA.

Monday-Friday (9-1pm) , 20 hours/week

Skills

• Proficient in behavior management techniques and strategies.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to patient care.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
• Ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills for educating clients and families about treatment processes.
• Competence in medical documentation practices related to client progress and interventions.
• A compassionate approach to assisting children in achieving their behavioral goals.
