About Job

Vita Nova Therapy, a vibrant and diverse group practice, is seeking a dedicated psychotherapist to join our team. We welcome both licensed and pre-licensed psychologists, including postdoctoral fellows.

Our practice is distinguished by our commitment to multiculturalism and diversity, and our specialization in student and young adult mental health. We are a team of international clinicians who bring a wealth of world views and language skills to our work, enhancing our understanding of our diverse clientele. We share a common thread of having trained at university counseling centers, equipping us with unique expertise in supporting students and young adults.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and collaborative environment that values continual learning and engagement, as well as self-care.
  • Flexibility in terms of start date, full or part-time, remote or in-person work, and weekly schedule (evenings and weekends are not required).
  • An employee (W-2) position, where the practice covers payroll taxes, professional liability insurance, administrative and billing services, marketing and networking costs, weekly consultation, professional development trainings, and retirement contributions.
  • For postdoctoral fellows, supervision and co-created learning experiences that blend our expertise in long-term psychotherapy and multiculturalism with your emerging expertise, interests, and lived experiences.
  • Openness to petition for immigration status, honoring our own histories of immigration to the U.S.

Our Areas of Expertise:

  • Students and young professionals
  • LGBTQ advocacy and marginalized identities
  • Cross-cultural individual and couple psychotherapy
  • Mindfulness and holistic interventions

We approach psychotherapy using multicultural, feminist, psychodynamic (including Jungian), relational, and third-wave behavioral lenses.

If you are a psychologist who can enrich our practice with your unique knowledge, skills, and experiences, we would love to hear from you. While experience in a university counseling setting is not a requirement, it would complement our team's existing expertise.
