About Job

Are you a strong leader passionate about developing teams and delivering exceptional customer service? We’re looking for a Service Manager to lead, coach, and support our team of lawn care specialists. This individual will be critical in ensuring service excellence, growing team capabilities, and driving customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach, train, and supervise a team of field technicians and trainees to exceed customer expectations.
  • Evaluate service quality and implement strategies to reduce customer complaints and cancellations.
  • Facilitate continuous training in customer service, technical skills, and safety protocols.
  • Set goals and expectations for service performance, production, and sales.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability within the team.
  • Conduct daily and weekly staff meetings to ensure alignment and drive team performance.
  • Monitor team output for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company procedures.

Requirements

  • Pesticide  applicator’s license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in lawn care, horticulture, or agronomy
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance

  • Outstanding leadership and team development abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Practical understanding of the lawn care/service industry.
  • Proven experience in goal-setting, performance coaching, and customer retention strategies.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and implement improvements.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
