About Job

My client, a group health & wellness service provider based in Aurora, CO is urgently seeking suitably qualified LPC’s (or equivalent) to join their growing team. The business serves the local community and accepts most commercial insurance as well as Colorado Health First and is proud to offer valuable access to mental health and counselling services inclusively to everyone.

Their ideal applicant will be a licensed or provisionally licensed mental health counsellor with no minimum level of experience, and we invite newly licensed counsellors to apply. Supervision is provided for those seeking licensure toward their LPC (currently we do not have supervision for LCSW or LMFT).

The practice offers and inviting, warm, comfortable, and functional office space. Offices are provided as well as furnished, and the practice has amenities such as refrigerator, microwave and tea/coffee supplied. The practice is independently owned and is non corporate. The working environment is client orientated and has a team of caring professionals. They also offer a great life/work balance that we feel is unmatched in most agencies.

We would love to hear from you, if you;

· Have a LPC, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, or MFT license.

· Are Passionate about providing care and support to people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar or other mental health issues.

· Have Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with excellent listening abilities.

· Can observe and document changes or improvements in patient behaviour.

· Create a treatment plan and write treatment notes.

· Are a self-starter, organized and can manage your own schedule.

What you will do;

· Provide the practitioner with a list of potential clients.

· Onboard new patients onto your schedule, offering in person appointments at the practice or Telehealth depending on the client’s needs.

· Make notes on patient’s progress, note any causes for concern and monitor their progress with personal treatment plans/goals they are working towards.

· Actively listen and engage with clients.

· Keep patient files up to date and current, including obtaining all intake documents.

· Work in line with HIPPA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
