We are seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to join our organization. In this position, you will organize and monitor the storage and distribution of goods, ensuring optimum efficiency and productivity with an eye on all stages of the order cycle. Our overall goal is to find the right person to manage the entire process, enhancing business growth, ensuring sustainability, and increasing customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties:
- Create logistics plan for individual projects-planned deliveries, routes, utilization of transportation options( Land, Air and Sea)
- Advise on logistic issues that will impact the overall delivery
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Monitoring shipments, cost, timelines, and productivity
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
- Liase with production plants (internal & outsourced) in order to honor project deadlines
- Manage 3PL warehouse space utilization
- Close out all shipments process within the IFS system to allow timely invoicing
- Work closely with accounting and PM department on any issues related to shipments close out to avoid delays to the invoice process
- Prepare documentation for domestic and international export shipments to include preparation of customs and shipping with ocean and air freight carriers and consolidators
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Quoting/scheduling of third party logistics shipments
- Coordinate information received from freight forwarders and track shipments
- Coordinate import/export logistics to ensure alignment with the overseas logistics solutions ETA for trucks scheduling
- Negotiate and arrange international shipments with freight brokers, international carriers and/or freight forwarders
- Streamlining import and export logistics process, insuring compliance to trade regulations for all import and export shipments
- Follow up on all import shipments to ensure timely deliveries
- Prepare commercial invoices for all export shipments
- Manage inventory of all the products that is kept in the 3PL
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics sofware
- Ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management
- Negotiation Skills
- Willingness to learn ERP system (s) for processing shipments. IFS is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with dispatchers, truck drivers, and co-workers, including clarity of thought and explanation, as some will not use English as their first language.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferably.
- Strong follow-up skills.

Education/Experience:
- 5 or more years experience in logistics control / international logistics
- 3 or more years Inventory management
- Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred
- High school diploma/GED required

- Ennis, TX (Is not a remote role)
Compensation details: 26-28 Hourly Wage
