AmergisHealthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated Behavioral Therapists to providebehavioral support services in a school setting. This role involves working ona variety of cases, including one-on-one and classroom support. If you arepassionate about making a positive impact on children's lives, this position isperfect for you!

KeyResponsibilities:

• Provide personal care and behavioral assistance/interventions to assigned student(s).

  
  


• 
  

  Assist students with classroom activities, grooming, eating/meal preparation, and toileting.

  
  


• 
  

  Support students with ambulation and transfer services.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage difficult behaviors and provide crisis intervention.

  
  


• 
  

  Encourage student independence and ensure their safety.

  
  


• 
  

  Implement behavioral plans effectively.

  
  


• 
  

  Verify changes in assignment due to client requests.

  
  


• 
  

  Confirm weekly schedules with the Amergis office staff.

  
  


• 
  

  Document care according to Amergis policies and procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Complete communication notes or incident logs promptly when necessary.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform other duties as assigned.

  
  

MinimumRequirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

  
  


• 
  

  Associate's degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in verbal and written English.

  
  


• 
  

  Current Health Certificate (if applicable).

  
  


• 
  

  Valid CPR certification.

  
  


• 
  

  Current TB Skin test or Chest X-ray.

  
  


• 
  

  Successful completion of the company testing process.
