Overview

Our ideal candidate values working collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers and is dedicated to training the next generation of psychology professionals.

Responsibilities

• Individual supervision of therapy cases for psychiatry residents, psychology interns, and psychology externs.
• Participate in group supervision of psychology interns’ and externs’ psychological/neuropsychological testing cases in collaboration with other staff psychologists.
• Providing clinical didactics to psychiatry residents and psychology interns and externs and providing testing didactics to psychology interns and externs.
  
  

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical, combined Clinical-School, or Counseling Psychology.
• Current NYS licensure or license-eligibility as a psychologist.
• Four years post-licensure experience as a psychologist.
• Extensive psychological/neuropsychological assessment experience.
• Individual, group, and family therapy experience.
• Intake interviewing skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Experience and/or interest in directing psychology externship practicum
• Fluency in second language is a plus (Spanish, Russian, Chinese, etc.)
  
  

Pay Range

USD $67.11 - USD $83.83 /Hr.
