Community Counseling of Bristol County is hiring Clinicians to work as a part of the Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team in Taunton, Massachusetts. ACCS supports individuals living with behavioral health diagnoses, both in the community and in group living environments.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing referrals to introduce services and engage individuals in program including screening for risk, safety, and other immediate needs;
- Conducting assessments and mental status exams using standardized documentation with a strengths-based, recovery oriented, Person-centered approach that accommodates Persons’ preferences for meeting times and places;
- Developing, writing, and revising Treatment Plans in collaboration with each client and client’s natural supports of his/her choosing as well as with Team Staff;
- Providing direct interventions and skills training to staff in order to implement the treatment plan
- Supporting assigned caseload using evidence-based practices
- Encouraging, facilitating, and supporting individuals’ participation in ACCS programming and other recovery oriented programming within the community
- Presenting case formulations and summarized assessments at program and provider meetings
- Developing Risk Assessments, Safety and Crisis Prevention Plans, and Relapse Prevention Plans with Persons;
- Assisting staff in triaging crisis situations;
- Making referrals as needed to specialized staff within the program as well as to care providers;
- Facilitating communication and enhance coordination efforts with Care Entities;
- Completing documentation in a timely fashion, including
- Maintaining competencies in Human Rights, Dual Diagnosis, CPR, First Aid, and attending in-service trainings as related to general job responsibilities;
- Other duties as defined by agency and/or program leadership.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in human services related discipline; Must be eligible to be Licensed as an LCSW, LICSW or LMHC by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Preferred human services related experience and/or experience with the adult mentally ill population including dual diagnosis with addiction.
- Must possess good organizational skills, effective written, verbal and computer skills;
- Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence and submit a copy of satisfactory record of driving from the state of residence of registry of motor vehicles
- Must complete MA and ADP Criminal Offense Record Information (CORI) process
- Must have computer literacy as related to the requirements of the position
- Preferred experience implementing evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, SBIRT, Seeking Safety, Medication Assisted Treatment, & CBT.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
