The Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP) is seeking a mission-driven, dynamic Social Worker to join our dedicated team full-time and lead critical efforts in resource navigation, benefit assistance, and our Age-Friendly Princeton initiative.
At CMAP, we empower older adults (55+) through vibrant lifelong learning, compassionate social services, professional resource referral, and meaningful opportunities for engagement. As our Social Worker for Resourcing & Age-Friendly Princeton, you will play a central role in shaping how older adults access vital support—whether through benefit applications, caregiver support groups, direct care, or advocacy within the larger community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead CMAP’s resource and referral systems, including the Discovery Hub, DME Lending Locker, scholarships, and more.
- Oversee benefit assistance, including staff and volunteer training, benefit assessments, and application support.
- Coordinate and implement the Age-Friendly Princeton 2.0 action plan in collaboration with municipal and community partners.
- Deliver direct social services: counseling, case management, advocacy, crisis intervention, and care planning.
- Facilitate support and conversation groups for older adults and caregivers.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with community organizations and represent CMAP in external events.
- Expand service delivery to community sites like the Princeton Café Nutrition Program.
Qualifications:
- MSW from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience)
- Deep commitment to working with older adults and their families
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset and a passion for community-based work

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
