Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is hiring for a Mental Health Associate/Residential Counselor at Mountain of Hope, the women's residential substance abuse facility in Paducah, KY.
PURPOSE: To provide therapeutic interventions, referral and assessment services to clients in a residential setting. Complete intakes and insurance authorizations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a mental health discipline (i.e: psychology, social work, counseling) from an accredited college/university and experience working with the targeted population. Minimum of Bachelor degree in Human Services field required.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: One year experience with appropriate evidence-based practices preferred. Good verbal and written skills; creativity; patience and flexibility. Must pass a background check and have a valid KY driver’s license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals in a residential substance abuse setting.
- Conduct intake assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques and crisis intervention strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Collect data on patient progress and participate in case management discussions.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents, promoting their overall well-being.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.79 - $20.00 per hour
