Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our integrative care team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and neurocognitive testing. This hybrid position allows flexibility to work both in-person and via telehealth, serving a diverse patient population ranging from children to geriatric adults.

Key Responsibilities

Perform psychiatric evaluations and follow-ups for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Conduct neurocognitive assessments for ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, mild cognitive impairment, and traumatic brain injury.
Integrate pharmacogenetic and nutrigenomic testing to personalize medication regimens.
Provide evidence-based medication management and monitor therapeutic outcomes.
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in the preparation of Nexus Letters and DBQs for veterans’ disability claims.
Document services using EHR in compliance with legal and clinical standards.
Engage in monthly Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) reviews with the supervising physician.
Contribute to psychoeducation and community outreach initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of Texas.
Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or psychiatric settings.
Experience using telehealth platforms and EHR systems.
Proficient in interpreting neurocognitive and pharmacogenetic testing.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
New graduates with strong training backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with geriatric psychiatry, including dementia and Parkinson’s evaluations.
Familiarity with VA documentation (Nexus Letters and DBQs).

Pay: $135,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
